“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate.” ~Proverbs 8:13
I never imagined that I’d live to see a day when the norm would be evil paraded as virtue, and truth branded as hate. And to dare to even question the narrative you’re sold, you’re labeled racist, homophobic, sexist, a nazi fascist, even.!.. Yet here we are.
So-called “pastors”—some of them women who loudly & proudly identify as lesbians—now preach abortion as “love,” and sin as “freedom,” while the name of Christ is dragged into their deception. The very Word of God is twisted to justify what He calls an abomination. And the world applauds every moment of it, while Christians sit back with eyes wide, mouths agape, and hearts saddened.
That isn’t progress. It’s apostasy.
This generation calls itself “inclusive,” but has excluded the very thing we need most – the holiness of God. It cries “love,” but shows no love for the truth.
What we are witnessing is not new. It is simply a modern mask on an ancient war – a spiritual deception as old as Eden, dressed up in rainbow flags and self-made (& self-serving) religion. And don’t trick yourself into thinking it’s about equality. It’s not. It’s about rebellion. And it’s happening inside the Church.
Contrary to what we’re told, it isn’t freedom, and it isn’t bravery. It’s cowardice. Cowardice to go against the mainstream and adhere to the Word.
And it isn’t love, either. Love doesn’t encourage you on the path to hell; love does whatever it can to pull you off that deadly path, and on to the right one, even when you know that others will hate you for it.
Do NOT twist my words and ideas in order to claim hatred. I don’t hate those deceived by these demons and trapped in these lies. On the contrary, I love them.
I love them with a righteous love, and, therefore, with a deeply aching heart, I weep for them. And I am now speaking out, just as Christ calls us to do, because I care. Because silence in the face of deception is complicity.
If I believed a road would lead someone off a sudden steep cliff, love would compel me to shout a warning, to stand in the road and wave my arms to convey the message of “DANGER“! If, in the middle of the night, my neighbors were sleeping through the burning of their house, I would bang on their doors and windows, screaming for them to “WAKE UP! GET OUT OF THERE OR ELSE YOU’LL BURN AND DIE!“
That is the equivalent of what I am doing here, now; shouting warnings so that ppl won’t spend eternity dying a fiery death, over and over again. It is why I won’t apologize for my holy anger. Because I believe in a holy God.
And when that which is holy is defiled—when righteousness is called hate, and sin is celebrated like a badge of honor—I cannot, and will not, stay silent.
Let people be offended, if they so choose offense, but I choose to take a stand against that which offends God.
Let them call me judgmental. Let them say I’m old-fashioned, narrow-minded, hateful. I know who I serve. I am secure in Christ. And I will not twist His Word to fit fleeting feelings, earthly desires, or deceitful, foolish hearts. I will not twist His Word to fit this world. I would rather be judged & looked down upon by man, than be judged and looked down upon by God. And we will be judged and held accountable if we just stand by and do not share the truth.
So here is the truth – We are the remnant. We are the ones still standing, still praying, still speaking, still believing. And while the world spirals, we hold fast to the One who never changes.
Now is not the time for timid Christianity. It is the time to burn bright with holy fire, and to scream from the rooftops the truth. For He is the truth, the way, and the life. Forever and ever.
Amen!
