•Sacred Distinctions Amid Gender Chaos•

“He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind” when they were created.” ~ Genesis 5:2

There was a time when no one questioned it. You were either a man or a woman. A boy or a girl. Created male or female, in the image of God. No forms to fill out, no pronouns to choose, no confusion clouding the core of who you are.

Now, we live in a world where those sacred distinctions have been traded for chaos. Where womanhood is up for grabs and manhood is being dismantled. Where a person can identify as anything — or everything — and be celebrated for doing so. Where children are being told that the body God gave them might have been a “mistake.”

But let me say it plainly: God does not make mistakes.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” ~ Genesis 1:27

Male and female were not just biological categories. They were sacred distinctions, each bearing a different reflection of God’s image – intentionally, beautifully, and purposefully.

Throughout Scripture, these differences were not blurred – they were blessed. Men and women had different roles, different rhythms, different expectations.

Women bled and birthed and brought forth life, marked by sacred separations that spoke of holiness and renewal.

Men led and labored and carried covenantal weight, often called to war and worship in ways unique to their design.

These distinctions didn’t mean one was better – they meant both were needed.

And while the ceremonial laws of separation were fulfilled in Christ, the essence of distinction remained. Grace did not erase gender – it redeemed it. It elevated it. It gave it new purpose under the cross.

“The woman is the glory of man…” ~1 Corinthians 11:7

“Husbands, love your wives… Wives, submit to your husbands…” ~Ephesians 5:22–25

“Older women… teach what is good… so that the Word of God may not be reviled.” ~Titus 2:3–5

This isn’t bigotry. This isn’t backwards. This is the sacred order of creation, under the rule of a holy God who is not the author of confusion, but of peace.

So let’s be clear – I speak with compassion, but not at the cost of God’s truth.

That being said…

Womanhood is not a costume.

Manhood is not a mindset.

And gender is not a social construct, nor is it a choice – it is a divine assignment.

You, sister, were made a woman on purpose. For a purpose. By a God who still calls you good. Who calls you beautiful. Who calls you beloved daughter.

You, brother, were made a man on purpose. For a purpose. By a God who still calls you strong. Who calls you courageous. Who calls you beloved son.

And in a generation where the lines are blurred and the truth is buried, we must hold fast to Gods sacred distinctions amid mans gender chaos – not with arrogance, but with conviction. Not to win arguments, but to honor our Creator.

God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” ~1 Corinthians 14:33
